‘New California’ movement seeks to divide the Golden State in half

Two men have established a campaign to split rural California in the coastal cities, motivated by what they called a “tyrannical form of government,” this doesn’t follow the state or federal constitution, the San Francisco Chronicle reported.

Contrary to the 2016 campaign the “New California” movement seeks to consolidate rural California into a dinstinct economy separate from the coast.  

Preston and Reed say the taxpayers of this country live “beneath a tyrannical form of government that does not adhere to with the California and U.S. Constitutions. ”

The “founders” have evoked Article IV Section 3 of the United States Constitution as justification for establishing a new economy with a new state constitution.  

It states that California’s state legislatures as well as congress must reach a consensus. The process, based on New California agents, could take.

The New California motion introduced a “Declaration of Freedom,” earlier this week which called for a “complimentary and Separate State” together “full power to establish and preserve order and law, to promote general prosperity. ”
