For name brands like McDonald’s, it’s crucial to get your marketing and promotion spot on — particularly on holidays.
Mistakes do happen, though.
On Friday afternoon, the official @McDonaldsCorp account posted what we are guessing was likely a scheduled tweet. The idea was clearly to promote some kind of Black Friday offer.
Things didn’t really go to plan.

It’s a fair point: this tweet has now been shared over 4000 times, which can be roughly 4000 more shares than their past tweet got. Every cloud, and all that.
