If Mariah Carey really doesn’t wish to be known as the Queen of Christmas, this can be a good start.
The singer announced on Friday afternoon that she must cancel three more dates on her All I Want for Christmas is You tour, citing ongoing health issues that have manifested themselves as an upper respiratory disease.
The singer’s tour had originally been scheduled for a November 17th kickoff date, but she last week pulled the plug in on the very first couple of shows. She canceled three displays citing the disease as cause yesterday.
Carey’s Christmas tour will begin on December 2nd when she’s the stage at New York City.
She shared on Instagram this weekend a post describing her choice, along with a special message to fans (below):
I hope everybody had a wonderful Thanksgiving with loved ones; it’s definitely nice to recall that which we are thankful for! Like all, I’m hellip; therefore I require a little more time to get right & thankful for my overall health. Physicians have ordered a couple of extra days of relaxation before I can fly into New York and choose the point for my Christmas Tour. I’m thankful to be and for the support from all of you, while this news disappoints me to share – it means the world! See you from the stage darlings! ❤, Mariah Read more: mariahcarey.comA post shared by Mariah Carey (@mariahcarey) on Nov 24, 2017 at 3:39pm PST
