Man cooks his own food at Waffle House because the staff fell asleep

A guy decided to take things into his own hands when he found the staff at Waffle House fast asleep.

Alex Bowen of South Carolina stopped by his regional Waffle House in Columbia for a few late night grub morning, after enjoying some drinks.

“It was about 3 a.m. I was fairly inebriated,” Bowen told ABC News, which, let’s be real, we all knew.

Bowen says that he waited for 10 minutes, but if no one came to his aid, he decided to return in the kitchen and make his own damn food.

Fantastic Option, Bowen. Good option.

Bowen took a drunken cleaned up his mess, wrapped his meals to go, and selfies. However he did not wake the worker, he found a worker sleeping. The place was not entered by anybody else off. Bowen says that he returned to pay.

His narrative got back to control when he posted a few photographs online and they went viral. They were’t overly pumped, for obvious reasons, but apparently they provided Bowen a work as a secret shopper.

“We are reviewing this incident and will take appropriate disciplinary action. In a related note, clearly Alex has some cooking skills, and we’d like to talk to him about a job since we may have something for him,” the firm said in a statement to ABC.

The sleeping worker was reportedly suspended for a week.
