How Crazy Is Elon Musk’s Hypersonic Space Rocket Airline?

For this vision to work, Musk should master a&#xA0 number of technical hurdles, including lots that aerospace companies have studied for decades. One of them will be cost—moving fast is easy, but going with a enterprise isn’t. Another challenge is to perfect the sort of “supersonic retropulsion” required for landing the enemy, which he describes as BFR. SpaceX has landed its Falcon rockets 16 occasions to date, both on barges and on property near Cape Canaveral. At least hypothetical future SpaceX flights won’t even have to be concerned about in-flight entertainment—there simply won’t even be enough time to watch a mediocre Hollywood film.
