We could be OK after all if individuals can just keep caring about people.
Update 2:06pm, Aug. 31: ABC News has got the scoop behind the picture. The girl and her husband, Karen and J.C. Spencer, known as the local Chik-fil-A, where they're regulars, when their home began to fill with water on Monday. And that’s how they had been rescued.
“We had to get out from there so I phoned Chick-fil-A, now that seems sort of humorous,” J.C. said during a meeting on Good Morning America on Wednesday. “I ordered two broiled chicken burritos with additional egg and a boat. And can you think that one of the directors of Chick-fil-A, she sent her husband to pick up us and we are grateful. ”
GMA also reunited the couple with the jet skiers who stored them, Keith Christensen and Winston Savice Jr.. J.C. called them personalities and they hugged.
“No problem, someone had to do it,” Savice said. Guys are safe. ”
