When it comes to the intricacies of Health Care policy in the USA of America from the year 2017, there feels no better or True way that sums up It than the next real Quotation from GOP Kansas Senator Pat Roberts:

“Once in Glacier National Park I watched two porcupines making love,” Roberts told reporters.

Uh, Senator Roberts, the inquiry was about health care?

Im assuming they created smaller porcupines. They created something,” he continued. “It has to be performed carefully. That Is what we’re doing . “

I’d imagine there is only a handful of people in the whole world that, when asked about health care, would immediately think about porcupine sex, then say, “these 2 things would be the same .” However here we stand alone.

His argument is both divergent sides are trying to agree about something. That is definitely a bizarre way to check out sex. But it turns out the senator’s knowledgable comments about porcupine sex aren’t even entirely true, since the Associated Press actually fact Assessed it:

THE FACTS: He is right, its catchy, but unlike lawmakers, porcupines have their assignment figured out.

Porcupine spines are an intimidating mechanism to protect the animals from predators. Nevertheless, when it is time to mate, they have the capacity to let their defenses down, said Duke University biologist Stuart Pimm. Courtship rituals can be aggressive but when the animals have negotiated the art of the agreement, the females relax and reposition their quills.

Its not entirely distinct from folks, Pimm said. We humans are quite capable of arming ourselves with the very fierce weaponry but I dont take my broadaxe to bed.

Thank you for clearing that up, AP! We’re so very sorry you even had to.

How a lot more times will the GOP compare lawmaking to animal sex before Trump finally leaves office? I am assuming we are only getting started here.
