‘Fixer Upper’s’ Chip Gaines: There’s ‘no such thing as a perfect marriage’

Chip Gaines admitted there is “no such thing as a ‘perfect marriage'” at a Valentine’s Day-inspired tweet about his relationship with wife, Joanna.

On Wednesday Gaines shared with a personal note on Twitter at the spirit of Valentine’s Day about marriage.

“No such thing as a ‘perfect marriage,'” Gaines wrote. “For me, its always been simple: commitment. Each morning I wake up pray she selects the same, and committed. And so today, again, I select my bride. To have and to hold. . till death do us part. #HappyValentinesDay sweet girl!”

After the “Fixer Upper” couple’s September announcement they had decided to end their hit HGTV show, rumors swirled that the iconic couple was slitting up.

But a representative for the TV couple told Entertainment Tonight at October the couple decided to end the show so they could concentrate on their business, children and unwind.

“Processor and Jo’s decision to leave ‘Fixer Upper’ is actually just based on wanting to catch their breath for a minute; to rest, refresh, and spend even more time with their loved ones and growing businesses,” the rep said.

In addition to this “Fixer Upper” celebrities’ busy workload, the bunch can also be  expecting their fifth child, which they declared  following a Jan. 2 installment of the HGTV series aired.

The bunch has continued to expand the Gaines family empire using Magnolia Home, a home decor line, and a restaurant despite working on HGTV.
