How can you imagine your perfect engagement photoshoot? A wonderful sunset possibly? A beautiful all-natural setting, maybe a forest or a beach?
This was what Josh Morris and Morgan Daye, a couple from Tennessee, had in mind when they decided to take their engagement photographs before Bald River Falls. “Josh and Morgan wanted to take in the mountains and about the falls from the start,” photographer Kellie Elmore told Bored Panda. “Its a beautiful area and reflects what brought them together; their interest in the outdoors, nature and hiking. Except she wanted to glam it up a bit. ”
The falls are a gorgeous setting at any time of year, however the lovebirds were in for a magic surprise when they came there on foot in under freezing temperatures, (25°F or -3°C) to find how amazing the falls looked when fully frozen over. “We didn’t understand when we proposed the shoot, however a couple of days prior we discovered through social media the falls were suspended,” Kellie explained. “But that which we didn’t expect was how awesome it looked in real life once we came. ”
While the shoot appears wild, crazy and a little dangerous, Kellie along with the happy couple managed to get through this photoshoot (nearly) unscathed. “My son, Damon and fiancé, David, were sure to check the firmness of the ice before anyone caught on, however when we came, there were heaps of people already out there,” she informed me. “I’d manage to drop my butt a really good time, and head ass a tree through our hike up into the top however. ”
But it was true of everything coming together in perfect unison to create for a distinctive and memorable photoshoot, along with the response to this beautiful couple as well as her genuinely breathtaking photos has amazed Kellie at the best way possible! “I never imagined this would happen,” she advised Bored Panda. “I’m overwhelmed and overjoyed. To have something you adore so much to perform be shared with these huge platforms and big scale, it’s a true blessing. ”
The happy couple have planned their wedding for May this year.
